Jakpreneurs in Thousand Islands Facilitated to Market Their Products at Ramadhan Fest

Thousand Islands Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency collaborates with related agencies (OPDs) and regional-owned enterprises (BUMDs) to hold bazaar called Ramadan Fest to facilitate fostered entrepreneurs (Jakpreneur) in marketing their products.

Thousand Islands PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Bangun Richard stated, Ramadan Fest will be held simultaneously in 6 urban villages on April 4-8, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

"Let's visit and buy your needs at Ramadan Fest, but make sure to apply health protocol to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he conveyed, Monday (5/3).

Ramadan Fest, he continued, will be held in front of Kelapa Island Urban Village Office Building, Regent Plaza's Yard in Panggang Island Urban Village, Terpadu Park in Harapan Island Urban Village.

Next in front of Tidung Island Urban Village Office Building, main pier of Pari Island Urban Village, and Arsa Park in Untung Jawa Island.

"We provide 7-10 tents for Jakpreneurs and BUMDs in each urban villages," he informed.

Ramadan Fest sells various things, from culinary, fashion, handicraft from Jakpreneurs, cheap staple foods from Perumda Pasar Jaya, as well as beef and chicken meat from PD. Dharma Jaya.

"This event is not only to assist Jakpreneurs, but also to facilitate residents to buy their needs for Eid from the nearby locations to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he said.
